A Course in Miracles has been read and taught by almost every teacher you come across today. It’s a beautiful classic about the power of forgiveness as a tool for transcending suffering, and it really boosted my toolbox during my first year of coaching. There was just a few problems:
1.
the language was SO Christian, SO gendered, and SO hard to read. Especially since I had religious trauma.
2.
it was in denial. the whole concept of the human shadow, or the idea that you might not (ever) be the angel of love and light that you think you are was never brought up in the book, and that’s the REAL angle you need to progress.
3.
I wanted everyone to read it, but NO one could. I personally threw A Course in Miracles away three times before being depressed enough to read it.
It needed a fresh take, some revisions, and a reminder that you don’t have to speak Jesus to become awakened. That’s just what the Christians say. So I translated it!
